Barcelona reject Manchester United's bid for Sergi Roberto

- Barcelona have turned down Manchester United's £36million bid to sign Sergi Roberto
- United are interested in signing the Spanish international as they are prepared to meet his release clause
- Chelsea could hijack the deal from United to land the Spaniard as the Blues are also interested in the player
Barcelona have reportedly turned down Manchester United's £36million bid for Spanish midfielder Sergi Roberto.Barcelona tagged a whopping sum of £36 million as release clause for any club interested in signing the Spanish international, and United manager Jose Mourinho has told the Old Trafford chiefs to go for the deal.

According to reports in Spain, Chelsea could hijack the deal from United to land the Spaniard as the Blues are also interested in signing him.
Roberto has established himself as a key player in the Barcelona first team squad over the past few years, and can play in a number of positions.
