Manchester United coach Jose Mourinho while speaking to reporters claims that Swede’s striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic is closer to rejoining Manchester United than moving to AC Milan in January.

Manchester United backed out from move to extend Ibrahimovic’s one-year contract this summer after he suffered a season-ending injury in April.The Swede is currently in Manchester working on his rehabilitation with an aim to be fit again by January. United are keeping their options open over re-signing the 35-year-old.

Mourinho while speaking to Sport Mediaset broadcaster said "Maybe he’ll stay with us….. He has no contract but he is closer to Manchester.”
